Description
Three CTR types have been approved: Type 14, 14A and 14C. The three rings are available in different diameters to accommodate the variations in the size of the individual patient’s capsular bag. Morcher capsular tension rings (CTR) are designed to stabilize the capsule and have undergone extensive clinical testing by a large panel of U.S. ophthalmologists. For implatations of the capsular tension rings using an injector, we recommend the Geuder model
(type G-32955).
